I would say the singapore team is improving, though not as rapidly as i would have hoped for. But 1 thing that keeps bugging me is the foreign policy thingy. I say try to keep it local. It should be singaporeans that should play for a singapore team. Not Pr's. What do you guys think?

For ppl who say we have foreigner...lets see it as out of 4mil population how many are actually s'porean by birth. So if we apply this ratio to our team as well...i think we still have more s'porean by birth in the team.

 

Progress...Asean champions twice in a row says it all. Other Qualifying tournaments where we did well against Big names like Denmark, Japan, china and we even won iraq in convincing 2-0 victory in the home leg.

 

If u wld argue tht the japs or chinese or danish or iraqis didn't use their 1st squad(they definatly didn't use div 3 players frm their countries either)?

Do we even have a 1st squad? For the acception of a few like Daniel Benette, Lionel, Baihaki,Indra n Noh Alam Shah our 1st 11 are always changing.
