Stop By LTA. (Need advise)

I've been stop by LTA, last week due to illegal exhaust.

After inspection, change back to original pipe and when back to inspection

But failed, cuz he said there is a welding marks on my exhaust.

 

Question 1.)

Can I just pay the summon and don't go back for the re-inspection?

 

Question 2.)

Will they know?

no matter u pay or never pay u still need to go for inspection but for the summon wise u can go to m.p for appeal they wont waive it out but cut the price into half i once get summon for my exhaust too cheers

no problem jay_jay but remember in future dont u use the illegal pipe again then u have a hard time in appealing ur summon

and u jus use up your 1 chance on illegal exhaust,

second time caught will be worse

Actually, what is the fine amount for such illegal exhaust pipe?

I think legal pipe if tampered is $500. illegal is $700?

Is it only visual inspection that was noticed that there is a weld mark? Does not mean that there is a weld mark that the pipe is tampered. Weld mark can also be re packing.
