A**hole moved and dropped my bike. Advice needed.

Hi fellow bikers,

 

The story goes as such - My bike was parked, and not in the way of other bikes wanting to exit or enter. This idiot came and moved my bike and it fell to its side, causing scratches to my paintwork, exhaust, mirror and handlebar. My friend saw who did it but was unable to stop the guy before he rode off.

 

The location is at my workplace, so I know who the guy is together with his bike. What can I do to him? Should I stride up to him and demand for compensation? Can I make a police report if he refuses to pay?

call up your insurance. make an accident report and make a claim. put your friend as your witness. if he hack care what had happen on the spot, chance is he won't bother to pay you the money. no point getting into a fight with him.

If u know e person, then tok to him n ask for explanation/compensation.. If he refuse, then make a police report, from wat u describe it cud b a case of mischief or rash act... Since ur friend is e eye witness, include him in e report... Niwae, hope ur case can b settle amicably though
