my TP just around the corner...once i pass i wanna go straight to aspoon ubi to get a 2nd hand bike...the problem now,which is good X1R OR SPARK 135...i dun mind both,n i not go for stylish or changing the acceserious or coverset...it just for transport..so anybody who has ride x1r or spark,kindly tell which is best...thankz..

yup, agreed. but both are the same. Just looks wise and just maybe the rear disc-brake. Correct me if I'm wrong thought. If you just aiming for the rear-disc brake, might as well get 125z, cheaper. Or with an added $$$ you could add it to the Spark too.

for me now,money is not a problem...i have enough $4k to take out 2nd hand bike..but the prob is,just make sure im not choosing the wrong bike..diff people have diff opinion on the bike...just need more info on spark n x1r...

I'm an X1R rider. I was like you, had to make a decision between both yamaha 135cc bikes. The reason i chose X1R was because sparks is too mainstream and i love the looks of and x1r. But different people have different liking. Sparks can covert rear drum brake into disc brake at just around $200+/-? X1R have disc brake when stock. Choose between the looks as most accesories can be used on both bikes.

 

Just pass your tp, go to bike shop. Test and see both bikes. Then decide. Good luck, ride safe.

there isn't much difference between the two bikes so just choose the one that looks nicer to you.

 

spark gear shifting is inverted btw and x1r has rear disc brake.

 

anyway regardless of what you choose, after some time, you might start to think that the grass is greener on the other side lol

 

i used to ride a spark and after some time i started to wonder how is it like to ride a x1r..
