Malaysian car caused accident

I was riding along CTE on lane 2 or 3 (dun rmb) on 24th Mar 1pm towards city. Suddenly a malaysian suv swerved into my lane and jam brake. Subsequently skidded and roll on tarmac for few rounds. That joker just continue.

 

Didnt manage to see the license plate. Was helped by a kind biker bro who stopped the traffic for me to push to road shoulder. I then called mata and was conveyed to hospital via ambulance.

 

I'm still pondering if I should make a report cos I know my chances are very slim to make a claim. I think TP will eventually call me regardless to report or not.

 

I definitely want the culprit to be prosecuted. I do hope to seek any advice.

Only 1 call from Mata, not sure from TP or what. But told me giving me a warning. I asked how about the culprit. Said cant find....Haiz. Too bad. Just my luck.

 

Bike has scratches and a broken signal lamp, thats all. No other major mechanical/structure damage.

 

But, I got multiple abrasion on all limps. Quite extensive. Lucky, injuries no more than abrasion. Was wearing jeans, t-shirt and slippers. Apparels are torn.

 

Last straw. Finally got myself a helmet cam. PAYBACK TIME!!!!

Same situation i was in years ago at PIE near steven rd exit. A dvdr is usefull in these type of situation..

Bro, glad that you are okay. From the pictures I saw, you need some riding gears to protect yourself and minimize ur injuries becos we wont know when such thing will happen to us.

Thank you for the advise bro. I do have the apparel. sometimes its just my laziness to wear.

Wah it's the same accident like me.... It's happen but the Tp accused me I'm in the wrong....... Get demerit point n saman sia but actually the stupid malaysian car changed lane any how..... But I'm still at fault coz tis stupid rider told the tp I'm look like sleepy during the time

Very unfortunatly in such cases we are on the loosing end. Till no contact, cannot be classified as a hit n run. until proven rash act or reckless driving by the other party. We will be faulted for skidding as it looks like as if we lost control.

Hi guys. do you have any knowledge on the claims between malaysian vehicle? i just had this accident 2 days back involving with malaysian car in Singapore that change lane suddenly without signal light and rub against the side of my bike that made me lost balance and slide on the road and hit onto another stationary malaysian car. at first we agreed to settle privately. but currently he hold back because he is worried that if he settle with me privately, the vehicle that i hit on, claim my insurance and my insurance company claim from him again. so now i am deciding to claim from his insurance directly.

 

Question is: is it hard to claim from malaysian registered insurance?

 

for my case, TP is also involved in this accident. the driver in the vehicle that rub on my side has to pay a fine for his driving attitude. he then even hold back more for not settling with me privately because of his budget.
