For a bike that will be use in normal condition, normal break in will be good enough.. Or follow whats recommended in your owner's manual, if available.. :thumb:

yeah.

 

if you cannot wait to soft break in, then do the hard break in. it's documented to be able to seal the piston rings as well as soft break in. BUT you must know how to follow the instructions exactly and safely. I've read through the steps before and with our traffic here, it's abit hard to do.

 

unless you wanna bring to HKL for dyno hard break in.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)

I have read somewhere regarding the hard break in using dyno. it seems to be much controlled and a better hard break in method.

Yes, it is time saving in the running-in process and done in a controlled environment by using dyno.

Engine oil & oil filter changed after bike cools down after the dyno hard break in process.

diff bike diff pricing due to the complexity and amount of engine oil used for the oil change.

 

Pls ask for quotation from Racewerks or HKL
