anyway i like the CTX700 with the fairing, looks really comfortable

Just got my nc700x 2days ago, unforunately bike now have to tow to boon siew. Reason being bike able to turn on but unable to get the engine start.. Any of you guys encounter the same problem?

Unusual as the bike is new. Probably immobiliser problem.

You left the bike in the rain?

Can't be the engine kill switch right? Of course you would have tried that and the tow guy.

Hmm as what whyzee said it might be immobiliser aka "HISS" problem if u xan switch on but cannot crank the engine.

 

Anyways have any of u guys have this other issue: bike is in gear 1, side stand up, clutch in but cannot start. I had that problem once or twice. Meddled with the wire connector at the clutxh lever there n bike was able to start.

Just towed to bs today, bs cny not open have to wait after the holiday then they will check

After turning on using my original key. All warning indicator lights ahould go off except oil pressure n Neutral light will stay until engine is running.

 

I tried turning on using a duplicate key with no HISS chip, all light juz stayed on n engine cannot run but can still crank starter motor.

 

If ur bike shows same symotoms, then it might be ur HISS immobiliser faulty.

think for hire purchase they will only give you 1 set of keys...

for full payment then they will give you all 2 set of keys...

I did have this problem a couple of time, where the engine light came out and I couldnt crank. But turn the key off and on again and the light goes off and start the engine again..

Honda, both are black key, as there are no "master key"

For yamaha bike(at least for my fazer) red is mater key, black is slave key. if lost the master key = GG
