Me went on sat early morning....reached in early afternoon at thailand border. Around 10 hrs.

Dared not speed so much..but tried short blast max to ard 160...the Honda tall screen caused more wind noise ...so didn't like it....also I found handle vibration and wind noise starts to get irritating ard 125-130 onwards....albeit wearing ear-plug type ear phones...

I top up 3 times only... each time around 10 litres.., distance travelled inbetween stops around 250KM...so the FC dropped to around 25km/l.

Took me a shorter time to travel back as i got used to the wind noise and vibration ba...

Cant stop 3 three times as 1 bike cant hit that distance, will try again next trip.

yes handle do vibrate a bit as it was wide and high but am planning to add handle brace. (cant remember where I saw it but some review do said the brace helps to reduce abit) Wind noise level is normal as there are many reasons leading to it, just hav to bare with it.

FC at 25km/l is still a good milage, better than my previous bikes.

Let me know if you intend to sell the tall screen cause maybe my height and shave seat is idea for it,my DIY screen raise 2.5inch higher so am considering a taller screen like givi on honda screen with a 5.5 inch raise.

Not at the moment, as i like the extra support that came with it... intend to DIY an extension from the bottom and see how first.

I only went to Thailand border FYI. around 850 km one way. sorry i forgot to count my first top-up at JB...so in total 7 top-up to and back.

Here's a link on advrider regarding the Wunderlich and Touratech wind deflector:

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=732488

Touratech is bigger, but less adjustability. Wunderlich, small, more adjustment.

A friend of mine have the wunderlich, no vibration or any sort. and, it really work. I'm sure the Touratech will work too.

Both are around $180.

Thanks for the link bro, was looking at both but it will be around the same height as my diy if I use it with stock, the diy is flip up a little on top, cant hold the clip so give up the idea. I will try the honda tall screen first then decided to add in if the tall wind shield not enough.

cannot agree more..

anyway the engine guard had 'saved' the bike once. come and think about it, it was really a silly incident. was wearing slippers and washing the bike. proceeded to push the bike backwards and slip on my flip-flops and bike fell on the other side. lessons learnt: 1- don't wear bloody slippery flip-flops to wash bike 2- if bike falls away from you, remember to engage side stand before going the other side to pick up bike ;)

Have anyone installed rear huggers?

Any recommendations?

Was looking at Skidmarx and they don't have stock.

If fabricate need to 5 weeks and shipping 10 days to reach SG.

Motovation quoted me $340 for 1 piece. And if there are minimum 3 orders they can lower the price to $260.

Are there any interested parties?
