have u tried on Schuberth C3? A friend of mine bought it recently @ chiap lee n the helmets lives up to its name as the quietest modular helmet in the market, steep $$$ thou.

A pair of basic foam earplugs solves the problem, or I can live with the noise. I'm not willing to pay an arm and a leg for a Schuberth.

Hmmm however review from prominent specialize trade i.e. Revzilla, webbikeworld, competionaccess etc gives a thumbs up on N-104 with a low margin of cons. As per my research (may varies accordingly) Schuberth, shoei, bmw6 r some of e high end. Meanwhile N-104 mid-range nevertheless still a pretty steep retail tag. Ha3 a big wing shield, better off in a car lol...

I've used NOLAN helmets before.Solid construction and good noise insulator, but boy are they HEAVY!

Check the user review. Find it more accurate.

A big windshield is very useful if you are touring with the bike. Local ride of cause you don't need it.

Regina has it, but they are not approved by Spring...

Hi guys. I can't decide between N43E air and N104..i think option is chong aik coz only they are selling spring approved ones with double D rings.

Anyone here using N43E Air and N104? My concern is the ventilation and comfort.

hmm looks like Chong aik is e only option to purchase N104. Have to wait end of June till spring test done

Regina already has it. But It's not approved by spring and not using double D rings. However it is cheaper than chong aik.

$350 for N104 b4 Bluetooth. The Bluetooth they are selling at $200 or $220. Can't remember. But motorworld is selling the boomless type. I think is around $200 too.

Spring approved means road legal in Singapore. I believe if u buy in bulk u can get nolan to manufacture the helmets to ur specification, with d rings for this case. Otherwise they will be with microlock straps. Chong aik should have done that. That's why It's price is higher. About $400.

Helmets got to be with double D rings to be road legal in Singapore. That said. TP can issue a summon if they see u with not approved helmets. If they want to.

They have a few branches. Just Google motorworld Singapore. Motorworld doesn't carry nolan helmets. If I'm not wrong they only have HJC and Shark helmets. :D

I actually enquired on the N43E and they told me It's with the same cargo as N104. Coming in mid June from what the salesperson said today. But not sure will it take another 2 more weeks for the inspection etc..

Any updates folks? Have been browsing around and this has piqued my curiosity. Hard to find a decent helmet yet PSB certified

I purchased 2 Nolan N43E Air from chong aik at $280 each. $280 for all plain colors. $300 and $320 for those with designs.

U can get it cheaper at LAB around $230 or lesser but without PSB sticker. I personally dont trust LAB. Especially this is more than $200 each.

The review is exactly how revzilla and webbikeworld describes it.

In short - Very ventilated. A little heavy. Quite Noisy. Well priced.

Thanks - the biggest concern usually is the weight and the noise. I guess that's the trade-off for convenience.

How do you find your helmets?

Pretty happy with it actually. Just that I wished it was less noisy and the cushion did not give my hair a helmet hairstyle when I remove the helmet after long journeys

Another helmet for your consideration: Caberg Duke. Relatively new and retails at ~$280 from Regina's.

Pretty quiet helmet for a modular, even slightly better noise insulation than my 4yr old OGK FF4. Wind does get in from the top of the visor thou, and can get a little noisy above 100kph.

Definitely lighter than Konda, but the heat does build up even when riding at night.

Hahah - I have a clean-shaven head, so one less problem there :) Just that probably have to wear the ugly-looking helmet liner to prevent lint from sticking on the scalp as well as to not

@lollibear - do you know if Cabergs are PSB-approved? I'm finding that to be the biggest problem now - most better helmets are not...

Counting down to get my license converted soon...

Yup, Caberg Duke is PSB approved. For Konda, you can have the non-PSB Approved helmet (cheaper) or the approved one.
