People most like the gs1200. The BMW badge is a status thing

Singapore's bike market is quite unique.

Stock brands like Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki are house brands that will always sell well.

Exclusive brands such as Triumph (even if reliable) has little reception.

Bikes Owned

Yamaha RXK ; KYMCO ZING 150 ; Piaggio Skipper ; Honda Shadow 400 ; Honda ST1100 ; Yamaha R1 ; Hayabusa K9 (present)

Future Ride

Honda Goldwing GL1800

I went to MAH in May to enquire about new Explorer and launch in SG. They said not avail yet, but it will be coming in June (and the launch bike is aka already in the container on its way to SG)...

Here comes June, calling them again last week - now they say it will be in July/August... WTF. That is probably why we don't see new Explorer yet... I find MAH story about launch of flagship model is quite ridiculous.

I am selecting between BMW GS, Ducati MTS and Triumph TEX now. After visiting the dealers, seeing the bikes (not Explorer yet) and their garage operations - I am the least inclined to go with MAH. The whole shop appears super crowded with various bikes sitting in every inch of space, waiting repairs, collecting dust, no place to park, no place to seat etc - this is clearly not what I like to see while paying 40k...

Any views on MAH from knowledgeable guys using Triumph and their services for years?.. Please give me a hope! Thanks
