hi all

wanted to start this new thread to spread awareness for 2b sports 4strokers, which many trash talk bout being only nice to look at but severely underpowered and losing out to the older 2strokers.

with a sporty below 200cc 4stroke bike, we achieve better FC, easier monthly maintanance, better looks, and can fully concentrate on using every inch of raw engine power with little worry bout speeding excessively and focus on better riding techniques.

spreading the love for 4T, not spreading hate for 2T.

hope to see all brand makes and model from all over sg.

haha maybe nonsense but personally i started with a replica way back and now i kinda appreciate the lower top end. to each his own :)

what i meant to state was that those choosing to ride a 4stroke sports gotta come to terms with the fact that we might be able to tweak our rides here and there with tons of cash just for that one or two ponies, but ultimately its still a 4stroke :)

and with that in mind, i rode a normal naked bike a few years back and did my own bit of trial and error to see how riding differently could affect engine performance and fc. stuff like throttle control and how there are two sides to every coin.

and face it, TPs are riders too, a number of them are regulars in the forum. they might see us on the road and might look twice or even stop us to check if our lights are working, but one thing they know is that we arent able to speed down any road going above 120km/h.

Somehow when I see this title, it kinda struck me that "oh no, something gonna spark a whole lot of differential on 2T and 4T again."

I guess the debate just goes on and on and on la... But naturally there is every reason why the World in going into mini 4T, "small, big bike" for a reason right?

(not that I have ridden a 2stroke bike b4)

Generally I like to discuss say... (this thread solely) on how you guys maintain your 4T bike? This way we will not be stepping on toes.

I ve to agree with @wait4me partly.

2b 4 strokes wont miraculously transform a spd demon into a rider who wont spd excessively. I'm pretty sure tat if e rider wan to, they will still be able to go 120+km/hr.

And 2b 2 stroke doesnt automatically equate to spd demon. ._. i rode rxz and never went above 100km/hr. :) maybe my bike not strong. Then again just look at those rxz past me during my s4 time.

So no, its not e bike, its e rider.

Yup. Wasnt tryin to put down 2 strokers. I still miss my old replica but thats annother story. Since our group is small, tot of consolidating the mini riders.happen to find out recently that a friend of mine is riding the new megelli 125 and im sure the rest of the mini sports woould lOve to find out more bout it

Interesting thread.. Uniting the 2B 4-stroke sportbikes.. Indeed this bikes are quite rare, except for the Yamaha R15, more common and I must say that some R15 are well modified.. Mostly done in JB I guess.. Btw TS, nice avatar you got there.. Are those yours..?

i think if u wanna consolidate the 4 stroke 2b bikes... it will be a lot a lot until never ending as different models are coming out each year ..

yay, let slone sports bike. You're looking at KTM itself with 2 models back to back from 2012 and 2011. W**g y**p also brought in some bikes like Megelli and skyteam (which just state it as it is). How about a ore reputable but uncommon Derbi and Rieju?

This is like pitting against the many little smaller ones like 50cc and then like (D-tracker).

But then again wouldnt it be nice to have a little community here where people share what they can do with this technology and what interesting way to look after :):)

Just like that SP community! :)

Not bad eh, the other time saw one 2011 cbr150 white with tinted black headlamp cover and purple light (or was it white). Nice sia..

Quite a big of mod and passes off as some big 2a/2 bike. Heard this bike can go up to 150km/h somemore.

I think the newer range of the mini CBR are inspired by VFR.

But when I was at looi's some months ago, there seems to this CBR1000 that have the same mono-headlamp as the VFR and it was a sportsbike setting. I have no idea why also. I thought it was VFR when CBR was imprinted by the side.

:/

So does that means that "VFR" that I kinda perceived was actually "CBR1000F"? But a newer version? Cause when I saw it at the showroom, it was in a brand new condition.
