VARADERO 125

can any1 tell me the pros and cons of this particular bike?

 

i just passed my CL2B, is it wise to ride this bike or some other bikes?

 

im looking for comfort and for transportation, as everyday i wud be travelling to and fro.. from east to west of spore..

can anybody tell me, please, how fast is going varadero 125?

i need to know his top speed!

If you are looking at top speed, vara 125 may not be your cup of tea. Its top:120km/hr. Some may hit 125km/hr. an RXZ may hit maybe 20km more. But vara 125 is comfy, stable, and nice. But ex. Do read up the varadero 125 thread and post your queries. The lot will help you as much as they could.

I've been quite interested with this bike as it's bigger in size than other 2B bikes! It'll be easier to convince my dad to allow me to ride one! Just need to know, how much is the OTR cost?

around 11-13k otr for a brand new one..

For 06 Carb model is around 11++ k, while a new 07 fuel injection model cost about 12.6-13 k.

 

It is a good bike for long distance though some may b put off by the high OTR for a 2B bike comparing to the others. But this is quite a good bike to get... most ppl own one for a few years b4 upgrading to a Class 2 bike.

most importantly, does the bike vibrate when you go up to a speed of say... 80 km/h??

 

By the way, does the Varadero come with tubeless or tube tyres?

 

And... how much does it cost for a second-hand?

80KM/hr, neh, its an Enduro, Its rather stable. Maybe cos of its weight (149kg). But you shouldnt feel the bike vibrate at 80km/hr. Even at higher speed it does not vibrate much.

2nd hand prices???.... it depends on whether the bike is 'pimped' or not. Basically it means if it comes with a lot of accessories like main stand, under cowl, crashbar, side boxes, etc etc.... u can erally add a lot of after market accessories for enduro bikes... if pimped, definitely more expensive than non-pimped ones... but bear in mind most accessories are custom made for the Vara 125 so makes no sense taking it away...

 

The price differs from seller to seller... u can search the forum for second hand Vara prices to get an indicative range... think recently got 3 Varas on sale...
