Agreed. There was this p-plated rider riding an rxz at my housing carpark but he does not stay here. The bike is so irritatingly high pitch ear piercing noisy. I do not mind if its those low bassy sounds though. This guy always parks at void decks and just have to throttle before switchin off engine which I feel is dumb. Few weeks ago he lost control of his bike and crashed a wall. Not to gloat at other's misfortunes for I also have mine. And who does his friends asked helped from? Me. As they have seen me many times fixin my friends bikes before so they figured I am the person to approach. Funny how they came to me when they got trouble but before they always gave me and my friends that stuck up face. Good thing is I have not seen the rxz rider lately.

Bro, you need to know rider who rode on pavement is those do not wish to pay the parking fees. I feel is ok, as long as they are not riding fast on the pavement. "Self designated lot is ok, but of cos dont park at place that people needs to walk thru daily or children play area. So actually is no harm as they wanted their personal lot for their baby ride.

 

The problem is he rev quite high on his Aftermarket end can. His self designated lot is along a sheltered pathway designed for people to walk from their block to the bus stop.

The whole neighbourhood should be able to hear him when he starts his bike

I too ride on pavements at times but not because of not wanting to pay parking fees instead its because there are no available lots as most are being taken up by m'sian bikes and no season parking bikes. The sad thing is that I have season parking and never once have I failed to renew it every month even now I am unable to work yet but its the opposite for the availability of the lots.

U can write in to complain. I done tat before but negative results for me.

 

My situation is tat e carpark tat is allocated to my seasons parking is a extremely big one tat caters to roughly 15+ hdb blocks and a market place.

 

So when i complain tat e lots near to me r filled (i happen to stay at e extreme end of e carpark which is farthest from e market), e hdb told me tat i can park at e market and other areas of e carpark. so sux thumb.

 

If ur case different such tat e carpark is small, u can check ur seasons is wat carpark number then check street directory for ur carpark info. Or near e entrance to e carpark, e big info board will also ve e carpark number.

Depending on where ur talking bout bro.. If pavement, i disagree coz imagine the agony that a wheelchair bound person facing, having a hard time to squeeze thru e bike or bikes that r parking on pavement.. Void decks - Safety reasons, it juz take a gila fella to burn e bike n imagine if it explode n e danger that its gonna cause to e residents living in dat block.. Yes open or mscp there cud also b gila fella who wants to burn these parked bikes but at least its not endangering pple's life...

Thanks for the suggestion. Sadly is that I had complained to the town council and even the MP many times and up till now nothing is done. The pavement I meant is the border of the bike lots and not the spacious pavements for pedestrians however the residents like to take a shortcut by cutting thru the bikes at bike lots instead of using the pavements made for them.

@duo. Wait till walkers kanna exhaust pipe (hot) then wont do it again. And i agree e authorities pretty slow in acting in e past. Maybe now better? My season parking no space issue >5 yr back took more than a mth to close. Recently i kanna fine for no season parking which was a mistake. They call back next working day to discuss. Maybe can try again.

"sombody" thought "anybody" also can do it. "anybody" thought "somebody" else will do it. "everybody" didnt do it becoz "eeverybody" thought tat "somebody" else and "anybody" also can do it.

In e end, e boss screw "everybody" becoz "nobody" did anything.

 

This is y our sg got problem and e road is dangerous. I'm assuming u r e type, another road user cut u dangerous and u ve a chance to tell him safety without causing road block and accident. Yet u let him go becoz "somebody" else will do it or becoz "tell him also no use, he wont change"

 

It is becoz we ourselves believe tat pple wont change wont learn for better, etc tat y we ourselves r in danger on e roads. We riders r partly responsible for making e roads dangerous. In fact i feel we riders ve a bigger responsibility becoz more often than not we riders ve a better chance to inform these pple of their mistakes. Yet most of us dun do it for e 2 main reasons above.
