hello men

 

Today I was riding along Bukit Timah Road !

 

As I was overtaking a Lorry on the right lane, I noticed a nice police man with a radar gun on the overpass !!

 

I braked just as I saw him, but I think it was too late already !

I am not quite sure, but the speed must have been around 80-90 km/h

 

70km/h is the limit.

 

Will they take away my license ?! I only passed in November, my 2b license.

 

Help pls, so I can mentally prepare myself

road 70km/h ..usually there is a grace of about 10km/hr ... so IF ur going at 80km/h ... not so bad lah ... no worries then

 

but if ur going at 90 .. it'll be demerit points plus fine..but ur license won't be revoked. juz dun exceed 12 points during ur probation period.

and 2b speedo not accurate right? eg. showing speed faster than your acutal speed?

yup... 2B speedometer not accurate one... normally speeds above 80km/h you minus 10-15... speeds above 100km/h you minus 20-30... tried and tested... unless you riding aprilia...

last time i ride with my dad, he on his harley, me on my small little tzm..

 

there was also a radar gun police man.... later-on he said he went 70 km/h.. but on my speedo it was 80 km/h

 

so i guess even if my speedo said 90, it shouldn't be so bad..

 

phew.. lucky me leh.. tanks ah..

hope you didn't go too fast. maybe get sa small fine.... riding must be alert and ride safe, you only have 1 life and can't afford to make big mistakes which may be costly due to our vulnerablility

err... not wrong is 120 3 points if you were to get caught for speed exceeding speed limit between 1-20km. wont take away your license.
