This guide serves to help all local users on how to recognise and get to the immigration office at Woodlands CIQ. I found difficulty in the past guide without photo guidance. Now let's save environment! save money! save fuel! save time!

Pre-requisites

1) Singapore Passport with 2 years validity (not necessary also)

2) RM30.00 (for one year validity)

3) Not to be on Malaysia's suspect list

4) Stamp at custom first, then park vehicle and head to the office to get your macs. During your return, get your passport stamped once more also.

Here's how can you get to Malaysia CIQ Immigration Office (photos) - it operates 24 hours everyday.

1. Shortly after you get your Malaysia Arrival Stamp, look out for the first overhead bridge.

2. Park and lock your vehicle (I reversed to the empty lanes next to the stairs)

3. Walk up the stairs

4. Enter the immigration office

5. You should be able to find MACS Centre inside.

6. Take off your shoes and greet the friendly officer. Present your passport with RM30.00 immediately and wait outside for about 5-10 minutes. Once its done they will call your name.

7. Now there you have it :p

For car drivers, follow the same steps (without the bridge instructions)

You should see the immigration office on your left, then stop ahead to make your MACS.

Remember!

- During every arrival at the custom, you are still required to have your passport scanned/checked by the immigration officer, by right. Flip to the MACS page when you present it.

Previously required prerequisites

1) 4 stamps in last month no longer required

2) 4R Photos

3) Application forms

Notes on not exiting Malaysia from Woodlands/Tuas

- MACS not accepted at Bukit Kayu Hitam for entry into Malaysia

- Exiting MIGHT have difficulty, and will need to waste time explaining to immigration officer.

Cheers,

weiyang.

Hahaha! I took the same photos from the same angle as you did to put on the forum as a guide, but the one of the staff there coming out of the toilet saw me and made me delete them on the spot!

Good thing the lady who saw you did not!

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.
