i have lost the key cap, key retainer clip and rubber cap.

 

how do i get this fixed? can shops fix it for me? how much would it cost?

 

this is a very old laptop with no warranty.

 

i have also explored the option of buying a USB keyboard to use instead but i prefer using the laptop keyboard.

or go around SLS backlane shops to hunt old laptop keyboards..

Can go to shop pluck out the key from the display set! But got karma one hor!

Just use glue or blue tack and find a material tat is close enough feel to ur laptop keyboard. Then glue down or blue tack it.

 

Things u can use is plastic items, can cut to fit. Ice cream sticks. Anything of e correct size and wrap with something which feels nice to touch.

 

Can also use those anti slip maps tat u put in car dashboards. I ve seen even some use 5cent coins. just think out of e box.

 

Can also take layers of those square shape cotton wool. Compress, cut to size, tape tgt or somehow make them stick. Soft button. ^^
