Identification Unit (IUs) - is there a lockable one for bikes?

Hi All

 

just wondering if there is an IU that is lockable? So i dont have to keep taking my cashcard in/out i can just leave it locked in there?

 

Too often i forget to put in or take out

U can add a small pad lock, but it will still unable to deter anyone from stealing your cash card.

use a padlock. should be ok unless the bugger is desperate....

Just put a erp cover can already.There was once sold in the market with an alarm inbuilt in the cover.

Padlock is useless, once used it and the thief sawed away the hinges.

 

IU is represents In-vehicle Unit anyway.

 

Well, in most cases, the cashcard will be stolen if it is visible. If it is not, then that will reduce the potential. So get a leather cover from 219 or any auntie shop or an IU sticker with full coverage, but please do remember to take it out.

 

Another way is to convert your IU into a portable unit by use of a battery pack but that'll be a slight hassle.
