Hi.. Just now i was going home from my friends home... Travelling along Woodlands ave 2... Was in the pocket waiting to make the right turn when suddenly a bus try to beat the red light... And the camera flashed twice! Will i be fined cos i was about to move on during the turn right arrow...

Usually, a 100% of beating red light will be two flashes.

 

During the flash appear, is the traffic light, right turn arrow still green?

If its green, the u should be safe.

Yes it is still green.. Not even blinking yet... Kena the 2nd flash cos the bus sped by the junction... Don't know whether the camera capture me or the bus...

Maybe capture both..But the picture will surely show your bike leaning to the right as you're turnin to the right unless..

If u confirm in the right turn pocket den no worries. the pic should capture the green arrow..if i m not wrong..

err.. ok .. from what i know la.. if light turn red.. BUT got green arrow.. then u wont kenna.. but since u say bus beat red.. most prob the bus kenna not u.. from what i know is that you have the right of way.. if u were to receive a summon.. go fight for it cause u did not did anything wrong(provided what u say is true). dont worry so much la bro.. if u very sure the green arrow is up and its not blinking.. then nothing will happen to you UNLESS green arrow up but u going straight.. then good luck ..

Since you were in the right pocket, the 1st and second photo taken by the camera would be of you at the pocket and the bus travelling through the junction. Simply by that it doesn't make any sense to charge you since its impossible to capture you crossing the other traffic light

hihi.. i got 1 question. wat if i was in the pocket behind a car. after the car move off n i tried to move off, but i stalled my engine cos i m in the wrong gear. if the right turn arrow dissappear before i move off, n i moved off after the right turn arrow disappear. will the camera capture me?

red light camera takes 2 pictures by default...

 

1, takes pic of you leaving the stop line... (number plate not captured yet i think)

2, takes pic of you in the middle of the junction... (with number plate)

 

so it justifies that you went pass the line and crossed the junction.

 

thus 2 flashes....

anyway redlight offence is 200 bucks if i'm not wrong... 12 points..

 

for those who wishes to appeal and ask them send you photo... if you appeal lose.. its double the fine.. IIRC lah...
