Sorry for the late reply

I have stock up for my own use and also my friends but you're welcome to try a tube if you like

I think it's very much needed in Singapore where the COE is so high

Just make sure that your engine is still running, this gel only replaces wear and tear, it cannot repair cracks.

I had looked at Restore before - a long time ago before I stumbled upon CerTech Gels

First obstacle - I couldn't get anybody to ship it to Singapore. Not sure about now.

Second obstacle - have to keep using it with every oil change. It's an oil additive. So it goes out with the old oil. Unlike CerTech Gels for which the repair is more long lasting and is independent of oil change.

I am having some minor oil leak on the top, usually seen after travelling for some distance. Was wondering if this stop engine leak?

Anyone tried it specifically to stop engine leak?

You can buy engine stop leak from Tampines Giant - about $10 or so

Works if the leak is not too bad - follow the instructions carefully; I think only to use for 1000 kms or so

Interesting link

Anyway here's a local one - done on a 25 year old Toyota Starlet

Compare test 1 with test 3

There will always be people who are sceptical about everything under the sun; from engine ceramics to rust converter. Yup, rust converter. I was called names like 'snake oil' seller when I introduced rust converter to some old car owners - several years ago. Just ignore them la.

Don't want to use rust converter, carry on rusting lor.

Don't want to use engine ceramics, carry on overhaul engine lor.

Usually these people always want to sound smarter than everyone else, can't win. Truth is, I can afford to lose the argument. But I can't afford to lose my engine.
