Its very risky not to get that fixed. I would suggest you to get it fixed ASAP. Take half-day leave or something to fixed it. Else better go public. Dun wan any unwanted incident to happen. Fines is little compared to broken bones and torn flesh.

Morn also must on headlight?

From OneMotoring Website,

Vehicle owners who fail to comply with the below specifications may face a maximum Court fine of $1,000 or 3 months' imprisonment upon conviction in Court.

Disabling of Automatic headlamp switch-on function on motorcycles

When motorcycles are in use, their headlamps must be switched on at all times. This is to make the motorcycles more conspicuous to all road users thus enhancing the safety of the motorcyclists.

Motorcycles registered in Singapore on or after 1st November 1997 must be equipped with an automatic headlamp switch-on function to comply with the above requirement.

Disabling of this function is not allowed

Lol it's in the Theory Test ma. Headlights must be on 24 hours. Where do you stay? Perhaps try to go to a bikeshop that open late?

I'm more concern about safety when you travel at night.

how does TS define no time ?

i am curious , he/she works from 8am to 10pm every day for 6 days a week ?

the TS should care more about the safety issue then the money involved in the fine... once i was driving and there's is bike that rode very fast from the other side (i was turning right in a cross junction, and he was travelling straight) he almost hit onto me as i really couldn't see him as it was in the dark and his bike was black in colour.. seriously wonder whats wrong with him.. just don wanna on the headlights or headlight spoilt, even so he should had rode slower and safer to at least compensate for his loss of headlights... visibility on the road is important for bikers, we should make ourselves more "outstanding" for the drivers esp big vehicles on the road at all times particularly night time

its been so long...
