the new ninja 250r and 400r are 2 different bikes. the ninja 250r is a sportsbike whereas the ninja 400r is a street bike. the ninja 250r number plate shld range from FBE - FBG and the ninja 400r shld be FBG unless owners decide to retain old number plates

cuz msia 2b license is until 250cc that's why they are spamming the 250r like crazy

can try it out at Excel

hmm thanks for the info!

The kawa400ninja is not available in SG - correct me if im wrong.

Ive been waiting for it for 2 months and just got word that LTA didnt pass.

Look like im either gng to get the CBR250 or S4.

Proabably the honda because FC for S4 is terrible.

Does anyone here have a Ninja 400? Or know someone who has.

I dunno whether ur information is accurate. my bf has seen quite a few FBG plated ninja 400r otr. if LTA didnt approve, how could those bikes be registered in the 1st place?

Unless it is like the Kawasaki KSR110 case whereby LTA decides to disapprove the nxt batch of bikes coming in.

Even so, the Kawasaki KSR110 that are already otr are considered legal, just that agent/shops cant bring in anymore (they can only sell what's left in their shop)

From what i know, in order for bike shops to sell a bike, the agent or any shop bringing in the bike have to send the very 1st bike to LTA for approval (correct me if i'm wrong on this).

no point bringing in bikes that cant be sold to the local market.

U might wanna call up Excel to check (the only shop i know so far that is selling)

no 400, no 300..only 250 :(

yup, the ninja 300r is not approved. the ninja 400r is approved by LTA, if it isnt, den wat abt those that are already otr? unless it is similar to the ksr110 case whereby LTA subsequently disapproved it

bro, although i nv heard it b4, but this bike is parallel twin, dun think it will sound like a s4.

most likely will sound like a spark on idle

my ninja 250 sounds like a single cylinder 4 stroke bike just that it is a bit louder. maybe the ninja 400 sound the same as my 250

the new 2013 ninja 250 is abt 6kg heavier than my current bike. my bike dry weight already 152kg plus the fuel and everything is abt 173kg, almost the same weight as a 600cc sportsbike (180-190kg)

trust the ninja 400 will out shine the honda super 4. it's nimble, it's sleek, it's powerful.

sad to say, the distributor, evershine motor is more like nevershine.

slow, slack, stuckup.

kawa japan must be blind to appoint a distributor like such.

The ninja is too sporty to be a comfortable street bike imho.

For racing, the 2 piston calipers might be a challenge.

I dont thing its meant to compete with the s4.

They belong to a different category.

It should be a model targeted to the smaller cc markets where 600 is an overkill.

Anyway, i support the system of having a 2b,2a and 2 so that we have more matured riders around who cherishes their licenses.

Imagine an immature 19yo kid with a R6.

i think for the ninja 400r, a close comparision would be the gsr 400.

not in terms of power n engine, but the fact that both are sleeved down versions of their 600 counterpart....

ninja 400r for the 650r, gsr 400 for the gsr 600

Honestly, how you find tht bike?

I was thinking of getting Super4 REVO

but the salesman highly recommended Ninja 300

what is ur opinion?

You can never go wrong with a Super 4, but I say follow your dreams.

Ninja 250's a new bike. Why not wait for more people to give in their reviews first?
