where can we get those REAL exhaust sliders as in its not those kinda colourful hose with metal brackets in them to tighten on your exhaust. what i saw was a SOLID kinda exhaust slider that fits onto the exhaust nicely and was tightened by screws from the other end. like a 2 piece thing combined together... i saw it on a Yamaha Spark with Yoshimura trioval carbon tip... but i suppose the slider should be universal? maybe differs from sizes..

Not really, as both serve the same purpose just that the aka chiong looks uglier.

So far I only know 2 authentic brands of exhuast protectors - APA and R&G.

 

I have been using the R&G small round since 2 years ago and didn't see any chiong one yet.

 

It really works. If you place at the right position, it won't even dent the pipe in a static drop.

 

Perhap you might want to contact R&G Singapore distrubutor directly for a better price.
