hmmm... actually seat height would not be a prob... it's a concern for shorter riders since they need their feet on the ground at a stop. tall or short seats for you don't matter that much bro because most of the time, your feet would be on the pegs while riding... right? like that, ALL bikes have almost the same distance from the seat to the pegs, measure that of a scrambler and phantom, would be almost the same...

u have to take into consideration the handlebars and rear fender... if your body is much wider than the rear fender and tire, you'll look funny from the back. if your body is wider than the handlebars, even worse.. look funny from the front..

side profile also counts.. in my opinion, from the side, you'll look funny on a phantom la... from the side, the tank is not very tall so your knees would be bent above the tank and your arms would almost be touching your knees.

one way to solve this is by using apehangars la.. really would change the way u sit on the bike.. not so crammed up. :)

It's your damn bike, wash it yourself! You rinse your own mouth after you eat, don't you?

Well, what you can try to do since you're really tall and I presume long legs, :p, is to stretch out and sit on the pillion seat when riding instead. I once saw a really tall guy doing that. I was like, dude! This guy is so tall that he has to sit on the pillion seat to ride. Anyway you get my gist la. I've tried it too on my old Magma. Quite cool. Cept I'm shorter so my legs turned out straight. And every time I stop I had to slid back the rider's seat.

dont get a bike which you are physically not comfortable with.

Especially for your first bike, you should get a suitable one so that you can improve your riding and your confidence in bike handling.

You might want to consider other streetbikes or roadbikes although there's not many choices. There are many friendly folks out here who will help suggest other good rides.

good luck and welcome to the Riding community of Singapore.

phantom's just the bike for you for your height and overall low-maintenance cost. or else, do you wana try taller bikes like scrambler?

dude why not try getting on a friend's phantom take a pic and show us? lol would help..hmm actually scrambler also can be ridden by shorter in height riders..take for eg my classmate is 160+cm in height and he rides one while he tiptoes when not moving..I was like hey so short ride scrambler..then me being at least 174cm went up and I had to tip toe too :cheeky: weird ain't it? lol just get something you feel comfortable and affordable for my wallet (: just like some people criticise we young riders on Phantoms like "ah pek" or "uncle" , well I just tell them they've not seen enough of the world..now good luck to your choice making, rider :thumb:
