Would like those riding KRR to take note.

I've made some checks, Dunlop and bridgestone doesn't come out with the 110/80-17 Rear tyre.

rear tyre sizes starts from 100/80-17 and 120/80-17..

Chances are many of you who are using the 110/70-18 for yr rear might be using a front use tyre only. check it out.

advise, never use front tire for your rear wheel, its never design to withstand torque produce under acceleration.

recommendation, use 120 80/17 for rear...theres hardly any 110 80/17 tires ard except for the stock ones

guess i will stick with 120/80-17. Although its a slightly bigger profile but it won't hurt. oh man, i think lots of the kawa riders are using front tyre as rear.

Made some checks.

Think the only rear tyres that are near to my stock size for BT039SS is

100/80-17 OR 120/80-17..

Can anyone advise on whcih is a better choice? the smaller one or larger one?

I went to BikeLab to service my suspension yesterday and Joshua the mech there commented that my 120/80-17R tyre is "too tall" and will "become square" when riding hard on track. True? But I've been to PG a couple of times and my tyres didn't give me any problem. il4, any idea about this?

thanx!

You want yr rubbers to last longer? go for dunlop tt900 which gives better mileage.

Better grip? Go for bt039ss, its gripy BUT it won't last you that long.

Stock size for SP rear, 120/80-17

stock IRC rear 110 80/17 *wink wink*

your TT900GP use for your rear reads 110 70/17

maybe u like to ask the mechanic...

same meh, one tire ratio aspect is 80% while the one that u fit it on is a 70% ratio...

U qoute saying my TT900GP use for my rear reads 110/70-17 but is wrong.. i am using 110/80-17 for my rear which is for front wheel..... so u mean dunlop 110/70-17 ther is also word saying for front wheel??? look like 120/80 will be the nearest choice hor.... bo bian change lioa... must ride til it spoil lioa... take around half a yr hor???

fwah, u getting deep, if its 110 80/17 then good for ya, but its for front or rear?

Now i am having tt900GP 110/80-17 as my rear... stating on the rubber "USe for frOnt WhEEL only"

One more thing.. most say 120/80 is too big for krr rear wear although stable but still too big.... most will say 110/70 is better choice.... although it is reccomended for front wheel of bigger bike.... almOst 70% of krr rider uses 110/70
