hey guys, i recently just bought my sp from a shop and the engine is rough. It maybe due to the vibrations caused by the engine bearings. Is there any ways which i can solve them without overhauling it?

 

harsh vibrations? is it the vibrations when accelerating from 4k rpm to 5 k? if tat is wat u are toking abt den it is normal for all sp. some vibrations are normal for a 2 stroker.... if the vibration s**er harsh and can hear metal whacking metal sounds den it is time for overhaul, u must take out the whole engine if u wanna change the bearings as it is considered overhaul

just came back from agl.. went in that time custom jam like rojak.. almost died.. went to wash my carb, change oil seal, set the air intake and change bulb.. all for 37RM at kok seng.

 

i always do my bike at kok seng...lol washed my carb at there be4 for 20rm

Erm,why not u fix an alarm system onto ur bike ? That's wad some of my friends is doing..but i always tap their bike to set off the alarm...lolx

hmmm maybe u can ask ur mech to open the engine n check. maybe is inside the bearings lose.. dun think need to overhaul bah.. just replace the bearings.. maybe cause by ur crankshaft also? many possible cause. best is check with ur shop.

think u kena chop. i wash carb for 12RM.. open the whole carb n wash every single screw..

bulb blow off.. suddenly one side no light.. anyway i gt it for free at kok seng. hee.. cause i tune my carb so they say wash lor.. anyway is a bit dirty..

i somehow agree. hendra87 should go check with his mech (or an experienced friend) if there is problem with his engine. most of the time you can tell if there is a prob just by listening to a 2stroke engine.

i somehow agree. hendra87 should go check with his mech (or an experienced friend) if there is problem with his engine. most of the time you can tell if there is a prob just by listening to a 2stroke engine.

actually it is not difficult to see. one short ride with spchoo's sp u_p the hill from khm to the mobil and back and i can hear and identify what kind of problem his engine has.

 

and i was spot on, if you dont believe can always verify with spchoo.

 

btw, we've listened and correctly identified the problems chenz, shinjisan, and a few other guys sp had. talk about being so clever?? it aint that hard anyway. we weren't born knowing how to hear. we also had to learn.
