well thats what i thought too. after a day of changing it i just whacked all the way. and it got loose or something. thats when changed again and knew that i had to run in for rings as well.

which shop you went to? what you mean by 'whacked it all the way' after a day of changing? seriously, who told you it was loose? if it really had probs, u'd prolly have to change ur block as well, not only ur rings. the rings WILL seat in before your 100kms are up.

 

i forgot to add, u 'whack' like madman, keeping it in redline all the time, even a nicely seated pistonring/block will have probs.
