nt spocket screw... u know the star thing? inside got this spocket supporter inside all the 5 screw broke off.. nw spocket turn by the star thing..

 

still can ride but must go slow change gear sound very loud

ride safe play when theres no one..

Hi bros and sis.. anyone knows how to get the hollow deep sound on your bike? issit the airbox or installation of KNN airfilter?? also..whats the purpose of installing an airfilter? does it help the pickup ?

basically.. air filter is to allow air flow for your carb..

your carb suck in air(from your airbox) + fuel to create combusion with the sparkplug to fire your piston to give you the power..

 

 

more air less fuel = lean mixture (can lead to piston seize..)

less air more fuel = rich mixture (wasting petrol cos excessive petrol is being burn out w/o getting power)

 

a aftermarket air filter provides higher air flow and cleaner air compared to stock air filter.

 

you can run w/o air filter to get that hollow sound or using those open pod filter(which people call it as pineapple/ong lai).. but but but..

 

 

water can seep through the air filter easily when raining and causing your carb to get water.. if there's water.. ur carb is unable to perform.. sometimes it might not even start or move..

 

 

no doubt with higher air flow you get better pick up.. and sometimes even causing higher fuel consumption. :dot:

but but but.. stil subjective to mechanic's level of tuning to optimise the filter.. =P

Until my friend was summon by nea who promptly send him a letter for excessive white smoke of cos...

 

btw..

we're trying to organise a A&W trip this saturday...

 

it will be in the morningz..

meet up ard 9+ 10am..

hmmm... richer mix for pick up and leaner mix for top speed... tats wat i think... hmmm... so by opening air box, u expand the limit of air flow; ie push the maximum air inflow higher...

So imoo by putting airbox DOES NOT improve pick up... by removing, drilling it, u 'de-improve' pick up. lol!!!

But .. nea is nea leh .. the camera under lta leh.. hmm...

nea .. can be some rosina or amina standby road side and catch the number plates?

i only know tat illegal U-turns can be caught by tat traffic condition cam.
