isnt e front brake always like tt...must press a lot for e braking effect to kick in even though ur pads are ok, ur cables r ok..i did ask 2 diff mechs for their opinions and ey told me tt free play cant be adjusted..

anyway from my experience if cars e-brake n u're not alert/did not e-brake too on time..most likely u will hit it..our brakes jus aint strong enuff

in the end me and some friends join a couple of guys from the scooter section who i know, go the orang asli restaurant and eat lor. very fun night.

why cant it be readjusted? try rebleeding your brake line lor.

 

if you not happy with the response, change to the steel braided lines, this is quite an old topic.

put some lubricant at the brake line ( when u press the brake, spray some oil at the cable )

i am happy wif my front power liao... compare to my friend bike, i feel my brake not bad la ( maybe becos i use gd pad), i ordered steel brake line liao... juz wanna improve on brake, ( brake is impt!!)

 

nv change the rear to steel braided, rear oreadi strong enuff, depress hard will wheellock ( dangerous)

jzu bought a SP today.. the prob is.. my right leg keep pressing on the brake, and i tot wad happened to my bike, cant move!! argh.. how to counter this? i have to stress my feet now to rest on the brake.. tiring..

the riding posture is like that.

you can try moving ur feet further back on the footrest so less of it touches the brake pedal. shifts the pivot point of ur foot.

point your toes outwards lor.. dont really need to put ur leg on the rear brake pedal all the time.. once you get used to it can le..
