Honda NSR150SP Riders

me bike like siao siao liao... today my bike until 150km the fuel needle reach the above the red fuel region le... this problem started since the last tank... which i clock 170km and dies off... just 5m b4 the petrol station... me so scare...

 

i just change my engine oil and chain last week...

before them i usually can go up to 180-190...

 

Come to think of it, I was the same sympton when I just got my bike, initally can hit 180/190Km then after subsequent top up now drop to 160km.. I be changing my jet needle to be sure.

 

Other stuff I change are my tyres (both), piston & piston ring, chain & spocket (recently) spark plug (Denso to NGK-R)

spark plug usually pple change together with their engine oil when they do servicing...

this method is more hassle free in the sense that u dont need to go check out the condition of yr spark plug etc...simply juz get new plug

 

since the moving to the left feeling only comes at certain speed or condition...then i suppose it's wind?

if not u try to free-hand during slow speed like 50kmph on deserted road? see whether the bike goes straight or not lor

wats the brands of your brake pads? cause u should be able to see your brake fluid. if not u turned your handlebar to the left side, u should see your brake fluid more clearly

but sometimes i free hand, my bike suay abit but i still managed to keep it straight with my legs.. so i think sometimes the free hand thingy like bua chun leh.. haha..

i normally do a engine oil change together with my spark plug at around 4000 - 5000 km..

 

but i will be switching to another bike shop to change spark plug or best if i can do myself.. anyone here can teach how to diy? cause i realised my mech turned the fuel knob when he change spark plug. he turned with a pliers or something like that.. y? can advise?

that esso pace is semi or not even semi right.. i also see ppl using from petrol stations but i prefer to use full-syn cause i believe 2t is important. esso pace = $4 / $6 not sure esso gold = $12. pay abit more to prevent piston jam.

 

if your piston seize, u will spend more instead and may risk your life cause i once experienced my bike skidding at around 80- 70km/h . lucky i was riding out of the expressways when my bike skid due to piston jam and i was pillioning. lucky nothing happen . thank GOD for it..

 

some more when my piston jam , i still got a lot of 2t with rich esso gold from petrol stations = $17.60

 

trust me use esso gold.. smooth

 

 

p.s last time i know lab sell at $12 so when i buy i just gave him $12 thinking it was that price. didnt know it increased price till now u just said..

if u dun dare to do freehand,ask ur mech to jack ur front wheel up..turn the handle,if it gets struck when u turn it gently..means cone muz change..

can u turn the front wheel without lifting the bike? cause i turn my front wheel when i sitting on my bike, don feel any restrictions? or i must jack up the front wheel then can feel the difference?

hmmm when i sit on e bike i turn handlebar i feel restriction leh

 

like front tire no air then hard to turn kind of feeling

 

but e fact is that tire pressure is at 200

u noe this freehand thingy ah i always try it still goes straight

isnt it more of incorrect tire pressure that cos it not to go straight?

 

cos last time e previous owner use this bt39ss tires which were not sealed properly..every week muz pump pressure or else e bike cannot free hand but once pump correct pressure free hand no prob liao

now my new tires 3 mths dun pump oso can go straight

u noe last time when i juz got my bikei oso keep getting this feeling...at expressway speed keep on tilting to e left...i was v sure its like tt but a lot of pple dismissed as psychological feeling

 

e thing is..it may not be ur steering cone...i went to lower my fork and do some minor adjustment to my handlebar (for some other reason) and the bike dosen haf this tilting to e left prob until now (touchwood)

The road condition will also cause the bike to shift as well.

i forgot the brand. I will only see my brake fluid only when i stop my bike fully, as in parking. as for riding, i see nothing in the window. I changed only the front ones, the back i nv change. Is it maybe that my back brake is taking up all the brake fluid?

hmm...i suppose jack up and turn better, my mech also jack up when he turn...

cos when u sit on bike and turn the friction against the ground may gif wrong info...
