blah... nobody replied... so I did it myself in my own way...

took a fish pump and a container... did it the stealing petrol from the fuel cap way... pump until empty, turn on the engine and let it fully burn whatever is left and fully fueled with techron 98.

engine sputtering problem solved... so far...

wat additive u used? rmb to follow the dosage instructions. too much is not good. better to be lesser. i recommend redline fuel system cleaner ($16 from mxtradings). don't go for those cheapo brands from petrol station. add that to a few tanks of caltex 98 platinum/vpower to cleanse ur fuel system. after that just periodically add for maintenance.

hmmm.. say about additive- I have been using STP and some cheap products from petrol station like 20~30ml for $5 like this.. Testing out all but STP is the best but expensive.. Any other recommendations? :p

Kindly read thru at least the intro section first before decide to post any comments.... thanks...

imo just pump techron can already... don't really need anything extra since my consumption is so low at the moment...

STP...been around for a long time..the fuel injection cleaner is good..i have not tried the fuel system cleaner as it is expensive..

as with addives...the major consideration is ...is it worth it?

it may be moreexpensive to use..eg fuel octane booster..it may be easier to use higher octane fuel than to use this..and cheaper too. but sometimes circumstances is the main reason to use...when you have bad fuel in a particular PLACE,..

I tried that OWS 3 bottles thingy... 1 to flush EO, 1 for petrol and 1 for Engine protection mixed with EO...

can't really feel any difference :(

If u keep up routine oil change, u rly dont need to flush. And if use a gd quality EO, no nd add "engine protector". Usually this is just some chemical to thicken ur EO. Of cux engine oil thicker shud add protection, but at d same time d viscosity no longer wat is specified for ur bike. Cause drag and excess pumping pressure.

the thread's original flush was for petrol.... not EO

I used STP fuel injector cleaner on my ST1300 and i'm really shocked at e smoothness of my ride.

Do you pour the whole bottle into you tank? Cos I read somewhere that 1 bottle is to treat 60 litres of petrol. Pour bottle before filling up?

My S4 is emitting white smoke from the exhaust. Vicom inspection says that he will fail the inspection if its happen again. Now, 1 year have passed and my bike still emitting white smoke. Any solution to this? Will fuel injector cleaner solve this problem?

white smoke..usually bad rings/piston..the eo is geting past the rings.

thus you are burning eo...white smke.

eo consumption shoild be horrendous...power sucks too..

if symtoms are these..time to see bike docktor
