Eh or wat abt V-Strom?

The V-Strom 650 has a new version released this year.

News is that the updated V-Strom 1000 will be out next year.

 

A 650 is more than enough. (Some say 400 is more than enough. )

The one thing I like very much on my FZ1 is the ABS.

Definitely worth the extra $500 or so for the ABS.

 

If you are getting a new bike, no matter what brand and model, I really recommended a ABS version.

2 up and with luggage, I feel minimum is 600cc. 400cc if you're alone. Cos spore road you might have top speed but pick up is very important so in my opinion, 600cc give you enough to speed away safely. The new storm 650 & 1000 version is something you can wait for and see, I am waiting I'm waiting for the new fz8 too. Haha fazer series quite decent and capable of going up north. Just invest in a decent pannier and you're good to go though its better to get the semi fairing version and honestly, fazer kinda boring to some folks. It'ike the super 4 of class 2, reliable nonetheless haha

Ya i too think that in sg rds need torque to move off slightly faster at traffic light. Preferred DL 1000 to DL 650 due to the twin exhaust....but not urgent to upgrade, so source for more info than make final decision. Cheers!

Vtwin ah, better torque down low. Stx cos v4 also better low and mid range engine power compared to the other tourer. Anyway 10k abit tight for the bikes you mentioned. Maybe a dl650 but heard rare see ppl let go

Cos it's honda and top 10 adventure bike. Can't beat the Africa twin or transalp though. But then thinking about, most of the Honda will be more than10 yrs old
