U wan loud exhaust... Ride a Gillera with a LV scoot with the diffuser removed can already.

Any bike can sound loud... It's a matter of with legal or illegal exos, and what type of sound it emits. Different engine gives a different exos note.. And swap with different exos on the same bike will also give a slightly different beat to the sound.

Not talking about stock exos... An inline 4 engine gives a constant note pitching to a loud roar at higher revs. A V engine signature exos is rumbling thumping like the Ducatis and of course the Harleys. Parallel twins emits similar sound to V engines like a machine gun. Single piston engines esp with bigger capacities are like pounding machines.

I suggest u choose a bike that u like rather than the sound it makes. Else it'll be like choosing a s3x partner that moans like crazy but couldn't perform or performs not to your liking.

One of the first thing I consider before I like the bike is the sound it makes.. So its a valid point to ask around ah.. I meant loud of unique sounding CLASS 2 la.. I also know any bike can be loud.. but sound nice and unique while loud? its something no kapchai can do legally.

You riding tenere? nice anot?

Yes I'm riding the Super Tenere which is a parallel twin. I have the LV exos with Arrow headers.. The sound is as mentioned a rumbling thumping boom boom boom. Some of the other owners has Arrow, Arka, Remus or Two Bros endcans and all sound somewhat differently. Used to ride a TDM900 with twin LV titanium with modified diffuser and its really loud.

But loud also have different kind... U like the thumping type then a parallel twin or V engine will be good. If u like those bassy roar then an inline engine will give u the thrills..

After riding a number of different bikes over the years... I think I prefer the thumping note of a parallel/ V configuration engine. The inline engine exos note sounds awesome at higher revs but my old bones can't take the speed. Hahahaha

I think I prefer the thumping, snarling, burbling kind of sound too.. Yeah I always turn my head to see when a big twin goes by.. Air cooled engines also makes a different sound that I like. Engine sound.. not exhaust noise.. Inline 4 all sound mostly the same. Cant tell if its BMW or japanese bike.. But the R1 inline 4 crossplane does sound abit like a v twin. Anyway, thanks for sharing the sounds of your bike in words. =)

Saw that u prefer naked bike... And one of the best note i heard on a nakie was a Yamaha MT-01 1700cc V-twin engine. Can't see what exhaust it was running on but the thumping & pounding was thunderous. But MT-01 are rare nowadays and only used units are available.

Ducati exos note are also awesome. And if coupled with a dry clutch it'll be perfect. However... Not to mention the higher maintainence costs of owning one, Termignoni exos if I'm not wrong are also not legal.

Harley?? Ermm.... Doubt u'll be going that direction.

BMW boxers also sounds good. But I rarely see Beemer owners change their exhaust (wonder why?)... That except for S1000RR of course.

R1 is still a sportsbike so unless u wana venture into this direction.

Triumph Triple engine are unique but I yet to hear one with an aftermarket exos.

As much as i would love to change the pipe on the boxer, the stock exhuast actually sounds pretty awesome~(to my ears)!

True in a way.... Until u enter into the dark side and tried an aftermarket endcan. Hahahahhaa! But then again not everyone likes loud exos (noise).

Ya, agree with you. In addition, have to ride defensively as well.

RSV GPR thunder slash... sound kind of too much (*maybe its under confine space which amplifies the sound)

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

Just a very ridiculous thought which came to mind.

If you stick a whistle into the exhaust, will your bike be whistling while you ride? That's pretty unique, though not too loud.

RIDE.
