Hi, does anybody know where to get waterproof gloves with a good degree of armour protection around the knuckles etc? Most importantly, should be able to dry quickly so it can be put away together with the raincoat

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Well ... .Here my 2 cents...

Did consider and nearly brought a pair of KOMINE Waterproof Gloves... put on a pair for 15mins and started to fell the heat building inside... I guess because it's made waterproof... it's hardly breathable.

So... stuck with a regular armored glove till date.

To Me....

I imagine (hope) that should be less of an issue with the rain cooling from the outside..? Anybody has any experience on this?

My normal gloves are made of leather, and they take for EVER to dry, so I need a better option. Maybe I can get those plastic gloves they use in the hawker centres, wear them over my leather gloves when it rains

I ended up using BMW Pro Summer gloves. Not armoured but has additional padding in all the right places. Light and simple, no binding at the fingers when you put your hands in...waterproof...and very comfortable. I got mine through SierraBMWonline.com and would recommend for people in this region.

yes the leather ones take forever to dry...

I have the perfect waterproofer for you then! For leather, suede, nubuck, textiles and even fabrics.

Yes, so now you can turn that non-waterproof gloves into waterproof ones.

It offers top-class protection based on revolutionary Nanotechnology.

When you apply a coat on your item that you wanna waterproof, the fibers itself become much much more water and dirt proof.

Water and dirt will not adhere to the fibers, and will instead run off like pearls(the lotus effect) hence cleaning will become easier and your material stays and looks good for a much longer time.

Most importantly, your material remains breathable. The coating is also colorless and odorless.

Of course, the coating is not permanent.

Depending on how heavy the usage of the treated material, you only need to re-coat once every 4-6 weeks.

Here are some pics and a vid of the waterproofer.

That's pretty impressive. What sizes does the spray come in, and what do they cost?
