Fly Racing helmets and stuff

Hi,

 

I'm a Malaysian, planning to make my maiden visit with my family to Singapore next week (22-24/12). Still looking for a cheap and good place to stay though (well, that's another issue).

 

Is there any shop in SG that carries or has Fly Racing stuff (especially helmets)? From their website, authorized dealer for SG, Indonesia and Malaysia is conquered by a dealer in Indonesia - http://www.flyracing.com/dealer-finder/international

 

I was told that pre and post Christmas period are the best time to get crazy deals in SG

As far as my personal knowledge, there is'nt any dealers for this brand locally. However, there's no worries... There's tons of other brands for your taking.

 

As for your hotel stays, prices varies with regards to location. Should you be coming with your family in tow... I would advice hotels located around Geyland as such... while the place offers great eateries.. it's also considered as a *Complicated* Place...

Thanks for the reply stoner. On the helmet, I have a specific model in mind so not really keen on others. I guess I'd have to resort to ebay then. Although it would be better if I could try the sizes of similar brand, as to avoid from buying wrong size.

 

For this 1st visit, we have decided just to go to SG Zoo and Night Safari plus some shopping. I'm told that theme parks like USS is not a good idea considering the number of crowds during this peak season. Quite tight on budget. You know la earning RM and spending in SGD

USS is fine over the weekdays and still worth a visit. As for SG ZOO & Night Safari, do remember to purchase the Combine Ticket which will be cheaper.

 

As for your choice of helmet, every manufacturers helmet shape and size varies...

 

How many days would you be in town? During the day do drop by Jalan Besar, hop into a Cab/taxi ... Them them to drop you off @ Kalantan Lane along Jalan Besar. There are 4 Helmet shops which you can't miss... Offering Brands like, AGV, Arai, Shoei, Thor ... Many more.

 

Go to the below link to view one of the better Shops ~ Chong Aik , I usually buy from them... Price is very attractive in regardless are you a local or tourist. (If you know what I meant)

its design is nice n wt is light.
