Called Evershine and Looi's... It seems the 2014 model won't be in Singapore until next year.

Evershine claims that production for Singapore's 2014 model won't begin until next year, and Looi's said that they are expecting them at late January next year.

 

On another note, it seems Honda would be releasing CBR300R to compete with the Ninja 300 for 2014

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

oh. then in this case i'd say might as well wait for the 2014. i estimate earliest jan latest march, assuming no screw-ups like wat happened with the duke390. thats usually the period new models arrive.

 

even if its only colour change (which is the only change), its still worth the wait and at the least the recall is sorted.

oh, and as for any potential 2014 Ninja300 vs 2014 CBR300R issue, my personal prediction is the the CBR300 maybe a bit cheaper but maybe a bit less powerful. thats just looking at how the 2012 Ninja250 vs 2012 CBR250R turned out. good and bad, the ninja uses a twin after all against the honda's single.

 

but i could be wrong. the honda might be a bit less powerful but a lot cheaper, which makes it possibly a winner. or a bit cheaper but a lot less powerful, which makes it a loser.

 

and dun forget, if you're gonna think of these 2, might as well throw in the CBR400R in the mix. thats a bit more ex than the ninja, but also a bit more powerful.... choices, choices.....

Hi bros, Im a proud owner of a 2014 Ninja 300.. Been riding this bike for about a month now and I can pretty say that it is a very good level entry sportsbike. Been loving commuting on it locally, furthest I went was till Mersing. So far I spotted that there is quite a number of our bikes already on the road. Was thinking if we could have a gathering and we can share more amongst ourselves. Need the head admin of the group to organise la as I only am a small fry.. Cheers!!
