Lol... If I ever see someone pushing over a bike, whether the bike is mine or not, I will whack the ****er if he never push the bike back up... Because he can say accidentally knocked over... If never push back up, hehehe... Hope he can withstand blows from my carbon fibre glove knuckles... ;)

(I'm using my husband's account to reply) Which town council are you under? Our carpark had some cases of stolen motorcycle parts and the police put up a notice informing carpark users to be more alert. In fact, we have noticed police cars frequenting the carparks even more frequently, especially at night. I don't believe the police wont help if you lodge a report, especially since u have photos as evidence. Also, normally town councils are very lenient if you explain why you won't park at the carparks. Every month we pay them for the maintenance of our neighbourhood, surely the residents don't deserve the treatments you mention. If I were you, I'd gather all the owner of the bikes and discuss on taking turns to keep watch at night. Once you see any suspicious wanderers , quickly call the police. No point waiting for town councils to take actions if they won't.

I dont think the owners will just call police when they caught the vandals red handed... Then they will be charged in court for causing serious harm to the vandals while trying to apprehend the *******. If they see then call police, by the time he has gotten away again. for the 8th time.

Ya lor, how come your town council and neighborhood police is working with the residents and TS's one is working against them.

1. I am under moulmien Kallang town council and I have appealed to them multiple times.

pls view the last email sent to me from town council, threatening to take me to court should i not clear my fines for not parking in the unsafe car park.

2. I have also met my MP, Mr Edwin Tong FOUR times but to no avail.

3. I have emailed the police to send me evidence about the damage caused to vehicles to so that I may strengthen my case to the town council. Yet, the reply given is that they have already stepped up patrols.

Dear ts, you can start a petition already. I believe many of us feel the same way and will sign it. Although its a small step, its another step. If still dont work, it'll only show how useless they are. Then when we stomp it or blog about it, the value will be greater.

Patrols are useless, just put on Stomp regarding inaction of the town council...and stop voting for your MP.

If me, I'd just try to camp out and beat the **** out of the vandal, I make sure the vandal don't know who I am, tit for tat.

That's why my bike is with me most of the time, when I'm at coffee shop, my bike would be under a shelter in my sight. Only when I'm at home then I'll park my bike below at the rubbish dump just for a few minutes maybe an hour at most. When I'm at my gf house, I'll put coupon and park at the carpark only because it has CCTV to capture the vandals. So at least there's something to go on with in court and sue them for all they're worth...

Best way to settle this: Set up a bike community amongst the neighbourhood, then maybe come up with a plan together .

For me, what I will do is stay at there wait. Culprit come = Beat/ Hand over to police / ICU / Brutal assault.

Nowadays, people all think violence is crap, but everything has its pros n cons. Wonder why everyone prefer talking nowadays.

So slow, yet so fast.
