hey guys to contribute my part, my ver S can hit 471km on 17.4L

so doing the math i got 27km/L

i guess i'm kinda happy with this figure leh, its only 2 weeks ago i did this calculation.

Normally i cruise at 6rpm on 100km/hr lor

I donno how i got this FC though, maybe the oil treatment and riding method plus taking care of chain did the job.

so i do reccommend putting oil treatment when u do ur servicing yea, cux it worked for me pretty well

Ride like you'll never ride again, be safe, than sorry =]

care to share what u use for the oil treatment?...my FC is still low even after service the carb and clean the air filter...thinking it needs to get some treatment with engine oil changeout.....might head down to Equipment Ex to service....

YEs, proper maintenance of chain affects your FC...

I'm not really sure bout that but logically, if your EO is thicker, it might need more power to mobilise the internals of your engine. So I think fc might affect.

I think its pretty fine, and the meter not accurate. pump to brim then calculate 170/number of L you can pump in.

for my opinion, 10w40 will be acceptable not more than that.

ver.S 17.4L?? my spec 3 non revo will go till 340km at 14+L. i'll cruise more than 6-8rpm. not forgetting to monitor the tyre air pressure. can be the reason too.

Guys...anyone got add in addictive/treatment to either ur petrol or engine oil and it helps to improve ur FC??....

I've already changeout engine oil (maxima), service the carb (change jet needle and o-ring), service the knn filter, replaced the front sprocket and chain

now my FC increase from 250km to 280km before reserve kick in...but i guess still very bad cause most S4 can reach more than 300km.

I've even tried to test the different petrol (SPC & Esso) but seems like no difference...riding style is only cruising..change gear at 4000/5000 rpm and hardly open the vtec.

Thinking of changing the spark plugs and rear sprocket?...anyone knows whether this changeout will help or to add in addictive/treatment better..comment/advice?

Sometimes its d eo. I was using fully syn agip eo and my fc will go to reserve at abt 320.. Wen i changed to semi syn, its now 340 to 350 then only it wil go to reserve.

Usually how long does your semi syn EO last before it needs to be changed?
