250f 280r for me. Also pillion most of the time. I can hit 320 before blink. Alot of factors can lead to bad fc.

 

thats what im expecting too! 250-280 at least. hai. maybe i try wash carb and air filter next month, with new eo. gonna try out ahpek blend!

I try 380km (Shell V power) then run out of fuel. Esso 8000 try 390 (don dare to try higher) for my Spec 2.

any Vtec 1 rider who go touring often? wanna know u guys' feedback on FC on constant 140-155kmh &also 150-165kmh JB to KL or vice versa with excellent engine condition, 10w-40 EO ,standard spark plug &sprocket without d bike installed with top or side box...

 

140-155kmh i can get around 18.6km/ltr & 150-165kmh i can get around 17.8km/ltr if w/o box , riding alone w/o pillion &with 42 rear sprocket ...i ride KL-Spore-KL almost every week (not for riding purpose,but for transport/commute purpose)

Can I check if changing to aftermarket end cans really affect the FC? I'm getting 22-23km/L with stock. Recently changed to aftermarket end can and got 21km/L. Riding a spec 1 btw..

yes. if i ride 60-70km per day, within 5-6 days it hits reserve.

 

i carry a 45L huge box.

Can anyone advise me here.. My FC is really bad as compare to wad I see here.. My spec3 only manage to hit 250km to hit reserve (stock condition).. After adding a full system, the FC got even worst.. 220km and hits reserve.. I've jst service my carb oso.. Wad is the prob here..?!

Jus a qns. Vtec 1 can use ron 92? Or wats e lowest grade it can use???

Cant recall well if its 87 or 89ron..i read it on my vtec 3 manual in 2007..but i know 92ron definitely can be used on vtec 123 and revo...

U may go COMBINE motor trading. located at sin ming auto care lever 2 for check. my one spec II previously also getting less and less. like 280 become 260... after go the shop service and tune, now on monitor, 1st tank befor reserve, 330km(vtec open many time) now 2nd tank, 200km with the LCD show leave 4 bar(vtec 1 time open).

cost is 300. usally cost able 150~200 or less then 100 if no part to replace/change. time is abt 4~5 hours. really good and the time spend is good for it.......

Dear Super 4 bros,besides tyre pressure, carburettor servicing and sprocket/chain; any other factors that will affect fuel consumption? Riding Spec 3 and did my carburettor servicing and new sprocket/chain about 2 years ago. Noticed recently that from 340km fuel bar dancing, now drop to about 310km.
