Just did my first major service. Spent 90min at Scooter Narcotics and for $200, I'm good to go!

I'm amazed at how quiet the bike is after the rollers and belt were changed.

Glad to have the peace of mind of a new belt.

Only 1 standard colour and design. Mine was the last one they have. If you really keen maybe you can call them- Future Scootering.

hi gpan, you might want to consider chong aik @ seranggoon rd. They have varieties of gears and bike covers to choose, from high end / mid range and low ends. All depends on your spending power and quality preferences.

Thanks Gusruh. Found another place that I will check out soon-Unique Motorsport at Autobay. GTS servicing for $160 only! Just found out this evening.....sigh. Their servicing packages very reasonably priced.

Hi guys... selling off my GTS 200 (Black)

Price:$1000 & below( purposely don't want to sell to bike shop!) price nego = )

COE end: 2015

Road tax: just renew till 2014

outlook: 6/10 ( drop at carpark before once)

Engine: just overhaul (with receipt to proof)

things to change: Exhaust ( cost around $700+/-), outlook of bike need to patch up and respray($300+/-), cupholder cover need to fix($???), need to get new box if you want a box($100~$200+/-).

things i have change: new seat wrap($75 by Auntie shop at lavender - scratch by those CAT!!!) New roller and belt, HID white light for high beam, brake pad for front and rear, speedo meter + old one which is also working well, tire front and rear.

reason for selling: actually already paid the bike shop to scrap but bike shop tell me they want the bike, i feel something wrong so i ask my friend all the old bird why? they told me some reason and found out that my bike still got value. Taking my bike and they still dare pay me back my bike scrap value, wanna con me to selling them at no cost but still i have to pay them for the scrap fee!!! Scrap fee= $230, COE rebate after scrap =$230 appox. 0.o!!!

Another reason is i'm getting a off-rd or touring bike for hash road to work so i'm selling this beloved bike... really like this bike a lot... but truth is it isn't tough enough for hash road in jurong island where i work...

 

Thanks for taking interest....if no buyer i will scrap the bike... my thinking is bike still good till COE end, why not utilized it? just a bit touch up is as good as new, just that this bike doesn't suit the route i'm taking that's all...

been riding my 2nd hand black gts (2009) for close to a yr. in short, v good pick up, no problem squeezing. constantly ramming 120-130, till now not much problem. money well spent indeed =)

How come u all can ride so fast? Mine like 100km/hr alr near redline!!

 

And I always hit reserve about 240km. That's way faster than the guys who do 300km per tank.

90% highway riding, no pillion.

I have this problem with my gts200 carb version, it start to jerk and i took it to mechanic and service carb, change air filter and spark plug, after taking the bike the problem still exist and getting til my bike actually died off halfway riding after some serious jerk, again went to different mechanic this time carb recheck and also pully being service, again bike died off!!!this happen in two day before this the jerk is not so major and never died off...then i try to start and realised battery died, is there a link between the jerk and battery?i am more concern if my jerk can solve as died off halfway is killing me man!!!i will get the battery replace but i hope this will be the root cause...please advice if anyone had similar issue...btw bike is now 50000km and 3 years old

it's the clutch slipping and it's most probable! i can help you with that!

Nope, I don't feel any heat in those areas.
