Hmmm, i did try to pull brake for 2 tries and i couldn't even kick down. I thought it was the wrong method so i didn't wanna risk spoiling the kick start... but since you have confirmed it... Fellow members could try at it.

Raining man... and i was thinking of going down for my first servicing...

 

I tried the kick start on main start without any brake... can work but not smooth on every kick and might not start on 1 kick. I nv tried on side stand.

Hi Max, pulled the brake but hand not long enough to reach the trottle

Brake lever no need to pull when kickstart. The brake lever switch is a safety for the electric starter motor.

Kick start on a scooter is for emergency only. Do not use it for your everyday start. You'll risk breaking it. Its not designed for everyday use

I just came back from JB. First time went there on a bike. And it was very crowded and sweaty when going out from Singapore.

My machine reached max heat! When just passed the gate.

I was a bit panic and turn off my machine for about 10 mins.

 

After that, everything was OK.

 

however, on the way back to my home, another problem came up. Which I thought already settled when i changed my auto clutch.

 

I experienced engine dragging and vibration at low speed 20kp/h. Anybody know what is wrong?

Appreciate it if can share any view before i go back to bikeshop.

HaHA me too met the same problem. Hand too short to reach the brake. therefore i gave up pressing brake and succeeded in kick start once out of my 3 tires ; )

Do you mean while the bike is moving off, vibration or slip feeling comes for a moment then the ride become smooth?

When i first done my full service, this vibration while moving off lasted for a month before it goes away.

Did called up mike from Nam wah, he mentioned that it might be the rollers/ or something ard that area didn't fix properly

 

My point of view, the rollers are new therefore needs some wear and tear before it go smooth ; )

 

Bro, you go malaysia do clutch only? share some info abt doing gts in malaysia leh. Price , brand of clutch, which bike shop ; )

Not while moving off. It's exactly when you pull the throttle from stop until 20 km/h.

When the speed goes beyond that, there's no more vibration anymore.

The viration is very huge. You can really feel it coming from the machine.

I will ask the mechanic to check the roller also next time.

Btw, after overhaul, my gts reached 1/27.

Most of the time 2 person on board. Roughtly 170 kg.

Average speed 60-80: still running in.

Hi, my pillion and I are having back ache after sitting long (half hr ride) on this bike and when we go over hump, the suspension will be compressed fully producing the knocking sound. Is there any aftermarket suspension for Gts200 that can solve this problem or a stock suspension is good enough. Any Gts riders experiencing the same problem? Seniors please advice. Thanks!

Have you tried adjusting the rear suspension Preload? Mine is at the second hardest setting

Yup.. best is to get aftermatket shock...even u put hardest it still scary if hit a bu,p on the road..

My bike started to have starting problems, coolant always go

Empty and rough riding with not much power all of a sudden.

 

When opened up the bike had scratches on the piston and the block. And top gasket was broken. Changed the whole engine casing too as the coolant pipe metal attached to it had rusted and had holes. Now all is back to

Smooth!!
