Hi, which brands of aftermarket rear suspension are you guys using for your gts200? I intend to change mine, any recommendations and shops to get it?

Hi guys, for normal servicing, do u all change engine oil together with gear oil? Change at 3000km right?

Went night riding to JB last Sunday. Makan and fuel top up.

Rode in via Woodlands and return trip via Tuas 2nd Link. Hit top speed @130km/h. *Dare not over rev.

Just changed roller, auto clutch and air filter at 300Rm... ushoe and belt i did not change due still good condition..

Now find out my rear brake got problem. Anyone know how much is rear brake.

I just got a YSS rear shock from Future Scooter @ $280 + GST.. Slightly higher than stock shock and it's quite hard, going back tmr to adjust.

Yss from Thailand..stock shock is high also but ask them to set properly bro...

I just changed my stock rear shock @ Nam wah 2 week ago. They cost me $195 nett while outside selling ard$260.

 

Heard Yss is good, however short live as it goes soft easily.

@alex: Bro , maybe u can provide some review after trying Yss. If its good, next time I also change Yss

Hey Max, can you share with us when is the time to change auto clutch? Slow pick up and power loss? Trying to determine the time for me to change it. Btw which motor diam u went for the clutch? Stock clutch ar?

Slow pick up if the auto clutch worn out.....after changing it, u can feel the power...i did change OEM..HI clutch to expensive...Yss is gd shock..because cup prix racer in Thailand using them...

YSS shock is adjustable, I adjust mine harder and i'm having back ache. Need to adjust to a optimal range.

Well, im not sure how many model gts200 came out...the new one that i saw is no much diffrent at all... only some compartment having new button...

As for carbon wrap, u can go down at Lavender... they do carbon wraping if u have time ....

For Yss shock is dont adjust too high as the bike is high enough already, just adjust compression of the shock so u have nice handling on the road surface...

I feel the bike is quite light in the front when having pillion at the back. It is quite difficult to control. Anybody here with similar situations and how you guys adapt to it?

 

I found that i could handle it better if i open throttle when moving off... so i don't wobble, but if people don't know better, thought I rushing off somewhere like that... so fast for what??

I think due the rear is shock is stiff..

Me too...just now wife telling me that she can smell rubber burn at the below rear wheel...

love this bike!

 

last night just top up my fuel and got 1 / 29. everyday riding from Punggol to Shenton Way together with my wife with average speed 60-80.

Too bad i didn't make it until tomorrow so can top up at JB. already chickened out once the bar left 1. hehehe.

although from 1 bar to full only take 8.5 litre.

 

So far, happy with the consumption.

Best is not to worry much..just ride.. if the bike felt heavy or jerking ...just change the auto clutch..if gear oil indication light blink...just change the engine oil...if petrol comsuption high ...just change new air filter...belting change is at 18000 or best 16000..

i don't know it has oil indicator. as matter of fact, i didn't know it has car-like adapter so i can put it usb charger till last night. haha.

 

the only things left for my bike is still jerking sometimes (even after i changed the auto clutch 2 weeks ago). will go to Tai Hin tomorrow to check it out the clutch. hope the best. crossed my finger...
