@Boy88 If you are trading in to a bike shop, they can accept trade in on your bike and you can get a loan on a new bike. They will calculate the price difference, loan outstanding, etc and tell you how much to top up or get a loan for.

If you are selling your bike privately, you have to get the new owner to either carry on installment (COI) or settle the outstanding loan in full before you can transfer ownership. You can then go ahead and purchase a new bike

So for both cases, yes you can trade it for another new bike, but the actual process is slightly different.

What bike are you riding and what are you intending to change to?

Btw Happy Lunar New Year!

Oh yeah, sportsbike + manual is indeed a chore for doing delivery.

I'd recommend Aerox as it's auto so easier to manage for delivery.

If you don't want to go through the hassle of settling your loan, looking for a new bike, etc - The best option would be for you to go to a bike shop and tell them you want to trade in, they can arrange all the necessary paperwork and loan for you.

Try giving Hong Leong Yamaha a shout since you are looking for an Aerox or Sniper, they would be in the best position to assist you. :)

Tell them SingaporeBikes (SBF) sent you, might be able to get a special discount price. Good luck!
