Just wondering if there are any investments to share with newbie me

Just wondering if there are any investments to share with newbie me.

Been working for a while already and really thought I should put some of my savings to good use... But just quite lost as to what to invest in. In my opinion, I feel that money shouldn't be sitting in the bank getting the low savings interest.

I rate myself as a mid to high risk taker.

Study study and study the market..

Put what you can lose into the high risk investment. Stocks/ shares and etc..

What you cannot lose into other fixed saving plans..

 

I'm not a investor or risk taker.. I'm those you mentioned, put in banks slowly grow.. haha... but there's alot of bank accounts out there that you can play with to get "reasonable" interest rates..

Yes totally, I feel that we should set aside a certain % of money for investment/trading while keeping our bulk safe in the banks. Currently I am looking into options trading in my free time. Anyone does that too ?

If you are keen, you can consider signing up for tiger broker account. Especially if you are going to start options. 

They have one of the lowest commission rates in the market, MAS regulated. All good and safe. I am with them for about 6months now and all is good.

ok i decided to go for it cuz apparently they just won the best retail broker award thingy.. will be good since its recognised by such big association.
