To me, its juz a myth not to b able to control a class 2 bike without gg thru e steps... Coz i've known frens who straight away took class 2 without gg thru class 2B n 2A n immediately bought a class 2 bike n have no issues bout getting use to it... :)

Wan arh, i see your other threads arh, i think u damn troll. But here, u make sense. Alamak.

I know it's possible to jump straight to class 2. But must be very very careful in the beginning. My opinion may differ from you, but if the person jump to class2 straight, and never respect the throttle, then things will happen when the person making a turn. Taking a corner is about control. If the person has not tamed the bike, the bike will throw him off.

Having said that, my neighbour jumped from 200cc motard to hayabusa. So i know it can be done. But differ from individual lah.

Anyway, good take on the part regarding NS allowance. But nowadays the NS allowance quite a lot. recruit is around $500 already i think. So to maintain bike loan, is possible, but what for since will be in camp everyday then only weekend can ride? Unless stay-out, then i nothing to say. But even then, every month, very little of the $500 will be left for saving or personal expense lah.

RIDE.

Niway, ultimately e choice is urs... Juz hope dat u wnt make e wrong decision n regrets later coz by then its too late... :)

IMO, that depends on how you ride the bike huhuhu. Normal street riding is easy enough, hard street riding and track ridng, good luck. Well its all a learning experience irregardless, everyone falls.

Yeah I got about $600+ during NS, and support my humble 125z easily.. Stay out on 1 day work 1 day off, my camp is quite ulu somemore. if ride home 10-15mins, if public transport about 45min-1hr

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment, and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

Cultivate the confidence to face the different situations. Don't let yourself to be subdued by the environment :thumb:

Hey everyone, sorry was in NS doing duty etc. Really appreciate everyone's piece of advice ! Now got a clear picture of what to expect, just waiting for my BTT to be over in 2weeks time. Hopefully I get to meet everyone in the near future and get to ride together, thanks for taking the time to give your best advice!

So slow, yet so fast.
