So I passed my Prac 5 (second try) last Sat, looking forward to finally leaving the safety of the school and hit the roads :D

It was pretty stressful going for Prac 5, and I made some mistakes due to unforeseen circumstances (darn, my CR before that was so much smoother), but luckily only hit 10 points.. I don't even want to think about Prac 8 and TP now, the stress must be unnerving..

Hi,

I'm a new entrant, nearing 40s uncle hoping to buy & ride a scooter after I passed. Went for my theory 1 and orientation on both sat and sun. Now eagerly awaiting my prac 1 which is early March?! ('cos I can only do it on weekends or night time).

Now, defensive theory 1 totally gone (meaning no single slots to book for past 2 days?!), jumped sequence by going theory 4 this wed night and theory 2 next thur night. Instructor mentioned that theory lessons need not be in sequence.

Btw, so far I noticed that there are no night lessons for prac (especially the last time slot?). Is this the case? Will all pracs have weekend lessons? Think at the pace I can go, need to budget for a very long time before/if I can get my license.

night lessons are on until 10pm+ apart from weekends. the session 6 and session 7 are night lessons. given most people work, the night sessions will be booked up fast.

Anyone here have any comments that CDC should use electronic timer for all courses that have timing? That way there would be no human error and during cr you would know your timing. Many times I counted at the plank that I'm around 7 secs but still get penalized..

Proposal is to the management and decision by them. Instructors may influence the decision but if I'm the instructor I can't see how they can influence not to go ahead with the decision.

Does anyone know how easy/difficult is Prac 6? I have heard some people saying you can pass at the first attempt, or maximum two. Any comments about that? I have booked the 8.40pm slot.

Just wanna be mentally prepared..

Practical 6. Just pay attention to your forming up and lane etiquette. Ride with confidence. Remember that filter lanes are the exception to the forming up rules. I.e in a filter lane only 1 bike row. There is one stop line that looks like a filter lane so make sure you stop and form 2 rows. Other wise everything is per lesson 2. And don't ride too slowly

Hi, just wondering if it's possible to book multiple lessons of the same prac ?

I had previously book my prac 1 on 27 feb. I checked the slots again a few days back and saw that 21 feb now had a slot, so i went and booked that to.

So now i have bookings for 2 different prac 1, one on 27 feb and one on 21 feb.

asking because I just read the CDC booklet and it states "Only one practical lesson may be booked at any one time."

That line in the booklet means you can only book prac 1, and not prac 1 and prac 2 together. u may book multiple slots of prac 1 though.

@darkredmica i saw you riding off last night and felt proud of how far you have come. you look so accomplished on the bike now.

Thank you @rijac. I am not a accomplished rider yet. Hopefully will be one someday! Ride safe too. Nice seeing Fiero the other day. Forgot to listen to his sound.

L6 about one or two attempts. It took me two attempts for L6 and one attempt for L7. L7 was relatively easier since just two TP routes to go through and u turn.

Am I the only one that hate cyclists on the road?

Only the ones who think the road belongs to them....otherwise, not really. I just take extra precautions not to hit them.

Just now I think drunk indian guy riding bicycle on the road in my estate, I scared he wobble into my path, so I went slowly, once I reach beside him, check blindspot, VROOOOM.
