Just got 24 points and 1 immediate failure for my L5 on sunday...too kan chiong during the start and drop bike.

Halfway then calm down and treat it as another circuit revision round

I rolled off the plank for my first attempt and received 22 points. Only passed on the second attempt with 10 points. Haha. It's normal to feel nervous!

Hi guys, new over here.

anybody took class 2b at cdc recently.

on average how many times should I book for each practical lesson?

so far for lesson 1, the instructors do not cover the entire curriculum in one lesson, so I am heading back for lesson 1 again - albeit part 2, to finish up the rest of the lesson 1.

during the lesson 1 part 1, i too saw people doing lesson 3 part 2, so on and fro.

any advice?

Thanks!

I recommend booking at least two lessons per prac with enough days in between to cancel. Sometimes you yourself will know using your gut feeling how many lessons you'll need. Only happen to me once where I couldn't cancel the lesson and just took it as revision..

Weee, passed my prac 2 on my 2nd try. Hot as ****! Was in my smart 4 some more. Learnt to not book midday lessons..

Prac 3 on monday! Learnt to book multiple slots and then just cancel as I pass.

Read that prac 3 is about slope. My greatest fear!!!! I stopped while riding up an extremely steep slope in cambodia... someone had to hold the back of my bike to prevent me from rolling back so I can move off hahaha.

@twinings, i took my prac 1 four times even though i skipped the bang wall part. The high speed low speed braking really quite tough to get used to but if you listen to exactly what the instructor says then okay already.

On slope, you just have to throttle first before easing off the rear brake. Fig 8 was what frustrated me for prac 3.

After multiple CRs I've managed to decrease my plank failure rate from like 90% to 30% (I kept count)... Still working on it. Test on Sunday! gahh

It's alright! I took my prac 5 three times! First time I was so nervous that I went to the wrong course...second time I didn't brake in time for the ebrake. Third time finally passed though. Hahaha. But for prac 8 I only did it once...so maybe taking prac 5 three times helped lol.

Lol, got to get used to the idea of failing and not get bothered by it. Everyone goes through it the same way. Still these encouraging words really help take the sting away, cos, can't lie, it still does sting!
