Any tips on how to do U-turn? For right turn at traffic lights, the order to turn will be Right, Left, Right, Left, and not side by side, isn't it?

U turn. Use f8 method. Rear brakes to control speed. Firm throttle and look where you want to go.

"Look where you want to go" , and only when you touch the first or second broken white lines at the traffic light, that is, to prevent wide turning? And the order to turn for U-turn will be just like Right turn, which is Right, Left, Right, Left?

Hello guys and girls, this is what I got for TP (#throwback to May):

4 - Narrow Course : Take more than the stipulated time at S course

4 - Narrow Course : Take more than the stipulated time at Slalom

2 - Slope : Roll backwards

2 - Emergency Stop : Incorrect technique

2 - Moving Off / Stopping : Incorrect posture

2 - Moving Off / Stopping : Poor acceleration

2 - Moving Off / Stopping : Wobble when moving off / stopping

4 + 4 - Forward Driving : Wobble when changing lane / negotiating bend / turning

2 - Forward Driving : Brake whilst negotiating bend / turning

2 - Safety Check : Improper checking of blind spot

-------------------------------------------------------------------

30 - Sians.

For most of the points, I don't even know where I got them at. Haha.

ok. here are a few usual spots

brake while negotiate bend/turning - make sure you complete braking before any change of direction. for example, when on the road, if you are filtering into the right most lane to make the U-turn or a right turn, do not brake while crossing the dotted line in between the main lane and the filter lane. brake before, then no braking until you are closer to the lights then brake to a stop. on the circuit the usual place is at the right bend where the plank is - don't brake while on that bend. and similarly if you brake immediately after making a turn it means you turned too fast.

wobbling - means you are riding too slow.

i had a lot of blind spot error even though i was checking everywhere - i was told i could be doing it late so make sure you do it early enough

poor acceleration - need to learn how to move off faster everywhere. i had this problem too

the others are all just practice more. good luck!

Thank you rijac and darkredmica!! I'll keep those in mind, will be going for retraining next week. I have never kena things like poor acceleration and wobbling during prac 5 and 8 before, so a little confused...

By the way, any idea what this "Retraining" is about (for those who failed TP)? Is it just another road revision or something? It has been more than one month since I last touched a bike, feeling kinda anxious that I might have forgotten how to ride now haha..

Thanks!
