i'll see you there for my second try.

I'll like to see you there too but I don't know how you look like, haha. I'll probably be the last guy though, since it's according to age.

Start and stop. Go slow very hard balance. The yellow line to another yellow line

When moving slowly, every bike tends to wobble. A fast moving bike is better able to stay its course and remain stable.

Therefore the solution to your problem would be to throttle harder and move off faster. That will definitely reduce the wobbling.

Being short sucks. Literally using the tip of my toes to walk the bike. :(

So blur when shifting gears.... gonna be stuck in prac 1 for awhile... ._.

Confidence is the key to success.

Try and learn as much as you can from each lesson, be shameless and ask instructor questions, it's good to get your basics settled before moving on.

Why I see my name mentioned here again......... for benchmark reasons..........

But yeah if I can do it, I think anyone can do it. Btw, limpei only took 2 practicals for Lesson 1. So stop making fun of me hahahaha. :cheeky:

For the rest of those who want my benchmark attempts on practs, here it is again. I took horribly long to get Lesson 2 and 3 right.

Sit on the bike while its on main stand and practice moving off and shifting gear up and down.

First practice moving off - Half clutch/Throttle, then release clutch fully and increase throttle.

Then practice change gear - close throttle/clutch-in/up gear. Practice and visualize urself doing it while moving off.

just make sure you lean forward so the rear wheel doesn't touch the ground!

Being too tall also sucks - I'm >1.90 and my knees are too close to the handlebars, center of gravity is too high and too far forward, posture is terrible, etc. Even the 2A bike was too small. For class 2 though it's probably an advantage, definitely easier to pick up the bike from the ground.

Further advice for shorties is to look around, not all the bikes at CDC are the same height, some have lower seats and possibly worse rear suspension - should make it easier to start on.

I did look around for smaller bikes but I gave up looking for them since it doesn't make much of a difference anyway. Smaller or bigger bikes I'll still have to pedal and tip toe.

@Metalskin I shall not argue with you. I earned my license to ride. Kthxbye to you!
