l2 key things to remember..

blind junction, is the junction just after you exit from the nursery. called blind because of the wall preventing you from seeing traffic from the right.. form up 2 rows whichever side you are turning. keep inching forward as the bikes move off. make sure to stop before the white line. then inch forward so that your left foot is on the white line. for left turn check right and left then move off, for right turn check right and then move off

if going straight in any situation in the circuit during l2 you must form up two rows, first bike on the left and second bike on the right and third bike behind first bike etc etc.

if turning, form up depends on the type of arrow on the ground. if arrow is pointing only in one direction - left only or right only, you form up 2 rows. first bike on the side of the turn, third bike behind first bike etc.

if turning and the arrow on the road is multidirectional - e.g. left turn and straight or right turn and straight - form up one row.

everytime you change direction while moving - e.g. to turn or to change lane you must check blind spot in the direction of the turn/filter. e.g. filter left check left, turning right check right.

check back right everytime you move off straight or turning right from standstill. if turning left from standstill check right and left.

Hahaha yup I found it after posting actually. Anyway how long did you guys take to pass your 2B? Don't have to take into account of your BTT waiting time cause I've passed BTT with car :)

learned a couple of new things (or relearned) during my RR today.

1. when re-entering the school after going out on road... at the left turn after passing the lobby to go back to the nursery... you need to signal left even though you are on the right lane because you are turning left. we usually have to stop at the chevron markings but sometimes the circuit is clear and we can go ahead without stopping - if you don't stop, you must do a blind spot check to the left before you turn! (its a left turn after all). this junction is a killer if you make mistakes. if you don't blind spot is 4 points. after you turn left you have to signal right immediately. if you forget you get 8 points - failure to cancel signal and failure to signal correctly.

2. sometimes you get points for 'apply brakes while negotiating bend'. this can be any kind of 'bend' including when you are changing lanes. meaning you should not be braking while u change lanes. finish braking before you change direction - this includes at traffic lights when you are filtering to the right most lane for to take a right turn. don't brake while filtering. brake before the filter line.

had a terrible RR. first time on the bike since TP and i would have failed if this was my actual re-test. engine stalled at traffic lights outside!

try to take tuesday revisions. the instructors tend to focus on those doing TP to help. i have 2 CRs booked and maybe another one if i can squeeze in. did my RR last week it was terrible.
