got mine from hup hin. owner manual say run in till 500km.so after 500+ i go below 90 most of the time.any effects on better spark plugs or EO? den how abt carb tuning.will it affect the performance??? needs advice.

i am on my way to 1500km and had already changed 6 times of mineral oil. afer 1500km will be using semi syn. Currently my FC is at 46km/L. I believe after a change of spark plug, and carb wash at 1500km benchmark, mine FC can hit 50km/L. Using Ron 92 also.

i haven tried Ron 92. only RON 95 and above.my 1st oil change at 500+++ till now 1300+++. u change 6 times??? wow... u go boon siew for the first 3 free servicing? after that where do u recon to go for future servicing???maybe all of us can mit up someday to share info of our bikes cos quite new in spore market. agree???

i change my own engine oil, never go boon siew to do cause no time.. just buy from ah boy there and change myself loh..

icic. had been adviced from LOOI at Tampines not to change to higher heat spec of spark plugs.set bac will be harder start up frm cold. changing to Castrol Power1 tml. 1st change at boonsiew Castrol Activ for $13++.damn ex. jus bought 2 botts of Castrol Power1 frm ahboy for $16.milege cant reli calculate cos getting petrol frm my customers cars.i'm wrking as a mechanic.haha.and oso pump and go at jb caltex.but estimation is half mark of petrol gauge is 200+++km.reckon redline will be 400-500+++km.wat do u tink?

dun mind me posting a few qns in here?

 

i'm looking for a transport bike, i was looking at pulsar and cbr 150. pulsar being new, i'm a little scared. cbr 150 insurnace is classified under sports bike, somemore it's very light.

 

if anyone can ans me, pls do.. hehe

1)cbf150 is sports bike or road bike insurance?

2) how's the FC like? do tell me the riding style..

3) i pillion quite often, so can it support heavy weight? my pillion n i add up to about 150kg.

4) how big is the tank?

5) i usually travel up to KL, can it take long distances?

6) any other comments? hehe

i brought my cbf 150 4month ago at price of $4750 with half yr rd tax,age29 youngest,new iu,insu in.the bike got not much power and it trap water.got problem after heavy rain

well speed wise is abt 110 km per hr but it takes a while B4 reaching the speed.

quite stable at that speed. but a bit light when switching lanes.

( i used to ride version S)

 

 

still can go faster, but dun wanna strain the engine.

top speed is not 90+ but 130kph...got tat bike already....thinking of buying gilera but damned the mthly instalment is just lik ea small car!

anyone knows whether this bike can change the handle bars?...too wide quite difficult to squeeze between cars?....the side mirrors too look so old im changing mine...other than that im happy with the comfortable bike...

Back then. a brand new unit cost 5.5-6.2K

 

For a 5 year old bike. From bike shop. anything from 3-4K inclusive of everything estimated.

 

I might be wrong. But do check out with the bike shop. That is my rough estimate.
